Abstract

This article addresses the media coverage of the femicide of journalist Griselda Blanco, in Curuzú Cuatiá, Corrientes, from a gender and socio-semiotic perspective. The objective is to analyze the speeches of the two oldest and most widespread newspapers in the province when they referred to the victim, the suspects and the crime itself, to try to identify and describe underlying gender stereotypes when dealing with the case.
