Rodolfo Kusch: The need to "rehearse a new word"

This paper offers an analysis of the thought of the Argentinian philosopher Rodolfo Kusch, considering him an antecedent of the theoretical current that, years after his death, emerges in America as "de-colonial option". It will do that according to a sequence that will start from a framing of his philosophical work, his considerations about the mestizo identity of the American and his conception of history. It thus reach the two topics that we consider central in Kusch's philosophy - and in the development of the de-colonial vision -, the notion of "geoculture" and the proposal of a new epistemic order from it.
