Study of the Technological Transfer of National Universities based on their regional dimensión.

From the last decades of the twentieth century begans a process of transformation in the different spheres of society, both cultural and social as well as economic and political. This placed knowledge as one of the main explanatory factors of growth and socioeconomic development, accelerating the integration of universities to the social, business and governmental dynamics.
The aim of this paper is to analyze is to characterize the dimensions through which technology transfer is materialized in national universities, based on the particularities of the environment in which they operate, that is, the capacities of the scientific-technological sector and absorption of the socio-productive environment, through a study of the channels with which they interact and interact with their environment, in order to generate a contribution that will strengthen and strengthen these relationships and relationships. The results obtained suggest different types depending on the geographic region in which they are located and the incidence of the previous capacities of the knowledge generating institutions stands out, being related to the mathematic effect. That is, they are strongly conditioned by existing capacities (own and middle).
