The transformations of the global context of the immediate postwar period gave framework to the specific positions that the Peronismo has about a new geopolitical conception that confronts with certain colonial interests of the period. In this context, an Argentine territorial redefinition based on bicontinentality arises, with the presentation of a new map of the República Argentina that included the called epicontinental sea, the Antarctic sector and the South Atlantic islands, as well as an intense campaign to develop a "Antarctic national consciousness", which included multiple dissemination strategies. For example, particularly the Argentine and British philatelic production are valued to analyse the dispute that existed for the Austral space.
