Abstract

The integration of artificial intelligence into daily life and education—focusing here on the tourism sector—requires an analysis of its opportunities and sociocultural biases. Higher education institutions in Latin America are addressing this challenge through pedagogically grounded teaching and research guided by human judgment. To this end, the study examines the uses and applications of artificial intelligence in tourism, covering both the tourism value chain and tourism education processes at public universities in Argentina and the wider region.
