Abstract

In Latin America, and therefore in Argentina, the management of public broadcasting service has changed to heat and pace of change of government. This implies that, beyond changes in management, the concept of "public broadcasting service" as governmental entities and media held steadily over time.

This paper intends to approach  the management of these services and their conceptual definition in a particular setting given by the period of government of the kirchneristas (2003-2015). To addres this matter, the National Radio is taken as the object of study. Thus, the objective is to demonstrate how politics and policies changes are manifested in the development of the country's oldest public broadcasting service.

Es Magíster en Industrias Culturales de la Universidad Nacional de Quilmes (UNQ), Licenciado en Comunicación Social (UNQ) y becario doctoral del Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas. Forma parte del Programa de Investigación "Industrias Culturales y Espacio Público" (UNQ). Sus investigaciones se focalizan en el estudio de las relaciones entre tecnologías, financiamiento, contenidos y regulación dentro de la industria radiofónica. Es docente en la Universidad de San Andrés.
