This work collects substantial information from the research that is part of the author's final Master's thesis. The research question that guides the study is: What dimensions of the social policy analyzed influenced the target population? How did the training impact local development? In the first instance, the virtuous relationship between social policies, training and local development is defined. Public policy is described, which is the framework in which training is studied. The main actors of the studied process are identified: family farming producers as the target population of the training and the Social Bank as trainers. The research methodology, field work and representative sample are mentioned. Finally, it is concluded from the results of the interviews carried out that the training improved the quality of life of family farming producers, which favored local development.
