White-collar crime and violence in the city of Rosario. An approach based on the Medrano case and the financial agency Cofryco

This paper addresses the relationship between violent crime -mainly homicides- and white-collar crime based on the case of Marcelo "Coto" Medrano and the financial agency Cofryco in the city of Rosario. In this sense, it is assumed that, although the dynamics related to the sale of drugs in the territories that make up this locality are structured on the basis of a predominant use of violence, there is a group of actors belonging to the upper social strata of Rosario society who participate in these plots through the development of criminal behaviors that represent a deviation from their professions.
