Our study used the city of Ushuaia, province of Tierra del Fuego, as a case of analysis, which, in recent decades, has shown strong and sustained population growth as a result of social and productive transformations. These have produced impacts on the environment, human and animal health. The objective of creating the system was to generate, manage and analyze statistical information linked to Public Health, which intervenes in sustainability and human development, such as water quality, persistence of zoonoses and bites, in the city of Ushuaia. A methodological development was used at two levels, on the one hand, the analysis of the statistical information available through interviews with key informants and an evaluation grid, and on the other, the calculation and consolidation in methodological sheets reflecting the meta-information of the selected indicators. In this sense, a process of methodological articulation or triangulation was required, combining the implementation of qualitative and quantitative techniques that allowed validating the conclusions about the analysis and evaluation of statistical information. As a result of the analysis, a system was generated with 32 indicators, classified into 4 categories, which emerged from the initial analysis of 7 indicators proposed by the UN and the results of in-depth interviews carried out between 2020 and 2021. From this research it was demonstrated the feasibility of the information system despite the difficulties in the preparation and systematization of statistical data at the local level. This information being one of the substantial inputs for the production of knowledge, the design and monitoring of Public Policies.
