Approaches of development and tourism in Latin América

Abstract

The essay article presents some proposal to analyze the development of tourism as a goal to reach the progress, with special emphasis in Latin America countries. The idea that the sector of the tourism is not foreign to the different approaches and processes that  comprise the general notions of the development and the different conceptions that through the decades are presented and that, to be able to incorporate it into the speech and into the investigations of the development, it needs to be analyzed and interpreted. Some critical contributions to development ideas are explored in order to reason and reflect on the different approaches that the development of the tourism may assume, rethinking perspectives under new conducive parameters to achieving more equitable benefits, and taking into account the circumstances of their progress. The article begins with the conceptual analysis on approaches to the development, continues with the ideas of development implemented in Latin America, and ends with its impact on tourism.
