The main objective of this work is to carry out a market study for the promotion of the satellite service marketed by the Satellogic company. It is a satellite imagery service called Dedicated Satellite Constellations (DSC), which is essentially a service that allows governments to launch their own Earth observation program for a fraction of the cost value it would cost to buy a single satellite, gaining sole control of your own data collection capacity over designated areas of interest.
The study sample was taken based on the countries that have made public government investment in the space industry, comprising a total of sixty-three countries around the world. This set of countries has been analyzed individually and by blocks, following a common framework of analysis using study parameters designed to measure the market penetration potential through temperature maps and cluster analysis. In this way, the result obtained is the identification of the markets to be commercially addressed in the short and medium term.
